for new and expanding businesses. Today, this state-sponsored program is considered the best of its kind and is administered through the state's Community College System. Johnston Community College in neighboring Smithfield offers associate degree programs and specialized training for industries. In most cases, training is free to qualifying businesses.
Always Looking to Improve
In 2018, the Town of Benson hired Rich & Associates to conduct a parking study in our downtown area to determine what improvements needed to be made in order to fully maximize our visitor potential. This study was completed in the fall of 2018.
